Newcastle very close to signing Czech International
New Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce is determined to construct a new back four at the club and has made an offer for Paris St-Germain central defender David Rozehnal.
The 2m pound offer to the Czech international, 26, is coupled with the players apparent willingness to move to Tyneside. So far, there is no response from PSG, their asking price seems to be in the range of 3.5m pounds.
Allardyce traveled to the Millennium Stadium recently to see Rozehnal play in an Euro 2008 qualifier for the Czech Republic against Wales.
Borussia Dortmund are willing to meet Paris St Germain’s asking price so Newcastle will be forced to up their offer if they are to land the player.
Rozehnal won the Belgian League twice with Bruges, before that he was with Sigma Olomouc. He joined PSG in 2005.

news is they have agreed to a price
I think he will be better off playing in England then in Germany. Right now EPL is probably the best league in Europe.
