Dacourt not joining Bolton

Olivier Dacourt won’t be a Bolton Wanderer just yet. The deal is on hold as Roma are banned from transfers for a year.

FIFA have levied a transfer ban on Roma who have appealed the decision. That could last months though.

Sam Allardyce’s plans look different from a week ago, that’s for sure. He wanted a player with Premiership experience. Dacourt had spells both at Everton and Leeds United.
All may not be lost as Dacourt only has one season left if forced to stay on at Roma. He may join on a free contract in a season, but there would probably be other bidders by then.

On another note, I sure hope Allardyce plays Ricardo Vaz Te over Kevin Davies next season. He's very talented and deserves a starting chance.

Presumably you mean KEVIN - Simon Davies now plays for Everton.

Simple enough to look at the website to see the list of players.
