Everton told to bargain hunt elsewhere

Crystal Palace have received a 10 million euro bid for prized striker Andy Johnson.

The offer was rejected in style by Palace chairman Simon Jordan:

"What does Everton chairman Bill Kenwright think he will get for £6m? Andy Johnson's trainers. Andy will be starting the season with Crystal Palace.”

Obviously Palace want an instant bounce back to the Premiership but might find it hard to keep Johnson.

For a few weeks I have been thinking of an article wondering why Chelsea don’t swoop for Andy Johnson. I think he would be a smash at Stamford Bridge and he would come a lot cheaper than the strikers Chelsea have been bidding for up until this point. He reminds me a lot of Arjen Robben (not in terms of playing style, but rather his impact at PSV).

Andy Johnson would go for the right price. It would take enough money for Palace to buy enough talent to replace him which would make Johnson worth about 17 m or so euros/12 m pounds.

Liverpool are not Sh1te, they are SH6TE ! Dont forget they were the equal 6th best team in the Premiership!

That is until the rules are changed [hmmmm!], and every premiership match is played to a penalty shoot-out.
