Chelsea reportedly make deal for Brazilian wunderkind (video)

Chelsea appear to finally be making a cash signing this season, and it’s not a tried and true European player, its for a 17 year old kid from Brazil. Jose Mourinho's reported to be extremely keen on The 17-year-old Internacional Porto Alegre striker Alexandre Pato. The youngster has been linked with a moves to AC Milan and Benfica, but Chelsea have reportedly closed the deal before any more interest in garnered at this month’s FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Canada.

Pato's agent Gilmat Veloz said:

"The deal is almost done, the two clubs have discussed the matter in the last few days."

The deal on the table includes incentives and is reportedly for 18m pounds, a giant sum for a 17 year old. It’s an indication of his talent which from the video below is extraordinary. Pato has impressed everyone surrounding the Brazilian League with Internacional in recent months; the deal stipulates the player will be allowed to stay until the end of the Brazilian league’s season in December.

Its very funny read some previous comments for people that never saw this kid playing. I am from Brasil and I guarantee that this guy will be in 2 or 3 years the best player of the world...he is unbelievable complete for his age… usually great players when young doesn’t know kick, pass or position in the field, but this guy do all things in a fine way...if Chelsea get him, they will have a player similar for Ronaldo in Barcelona 1997-1998 ouh he is very good heading the ball too..Astonish!!!!!
