Feindouno: Rangers, come and get me
Guinea international Pascal Feindouno has asked Rangers to swoop for him to team up with close friend Jean-Claude Darcheville at the club. Feindouno has been impressive both internationally and at the club level with French outfit St Etienne.
Rangers manager Walter Smith has been tracking the player, the Ibrox club look to be in the lead to sign the playmaker. Feindouno has been slapped with a 4m pound price tag, too much for Rangers, but it’s said that Czech winger Libor Sionko could be used in part exchange. St Etienne boss Ivan Hasek is also Czech.
While being so impressive in the African Cup of Nations last year, the price tag has prevented Feindouno from moving to richer clubs Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia in the past but his agent insists the transfer fee could be negotiated.

I love how you say "larger clubs" when mentioning Valencia and Deportivo....
Richer? Yes, Playing ina far better league? Yes, Better teams on the pitch? Yes...
But Bigger?
There isn't a club outwith Real and Barca who have the worldwide support Rangers have.
They are not bigger clubs than the most succesful team in the history of world Football, Rangers.
Fair point, I have changed the text to "richer clubs", no disrespect meant!
Love it, that old most succesful in world football line!
Is that not Linfield?
Rangers are the poor relations to Celtic in a poor Scottish League. To suggest that Valencia have not the historic pedigree or significance of Rangers is laughable.
As an Arsenal fan, I would rather in a million years play against Depor or Valencia in a friendly, than Rangers. Worldwide support? Stop hanging on the coattails of Celtic, who can truly claim to be big in the States etc, and i suppose in Japan with Nakamura (some free kick against the manks!)

Imagine a Arsenal fan trying to tell anyone what a big club is? - That has made my day. Rangers and Celtic could argue all day about who is bigger with both putting forward a good case however Arsenal should keep quiet and be grateful for the cash rich Premiership without which they would be chasing the only two big clubs in England.
Rangers have amongst the biggest travelling supports domestically and abroad in European football. Rangers have 51 League titles which is a world record and you think who you would rather your small club would rather play a friendly against is relevant?
Now that is funny.
Hear hear! Keep those gooners quiet with their over-inflated egos of themselves.
'Most successful team in the history of world football'.....'There isn't a club outwith Real and Barca who have the worldwide support Rangers have'.....LOL!!!! Hold on....nope....LOL!!! Keep taking the tablets mate...you are miles behind Celtic in every way...your club and its thug fans are a joke! Gretna for 2nd place next season!
