The flouncing referee

Man, this is just too funny. In the 90’s there was a referee in Brazil famous for his flamboyant style of refereeing matches. His nickname was Margarida, Portuguese for ‘daisy’. His real name is Jorge José Emiliano dos Santos, now deceased, and he refereed in the Brazilian league.

Apparently he was a well respected referee; he had to be with these antics. Can you imagine this guy in front of the Kop? Kidding aside, you got to give him credit for that backwards running and the technique of the yellow delivery. Rest in peace my friend, you will bring laughter to millions.
