Zlatan’s audacious flick
It was either a draw or elimination from the Euro 2004 for Sweden. 5 minutes from time Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored an incredible goal to equalize the game and save Sweden from the hatchet.
From a corner, the Italian defense tried to clear a ball away from the box but failed. A head on sent the ball towards the goal line, a volley then followed sending the ball to the 6 yard box, from there Olaf Melberg went up for the ball but couldn’t make clean contact. The ball dropped into the box sending Ibrahimovic charging from the goal line.
Buffon charged but Zlatan got their first and with his back to the goal jumped and flicks it backward with the outside of his right foot audaciously sending the ball floating perfectly above the head of an Italian defender on the goal line and into the goal. Whoa, that's talent. Here is the goal:
