Tevez really heading to Chelsea?

For 35m pounds West Ham United have apparently reached across London and into Roman Abramovich’s pocket to see if the Chelsea owner would like to make a deal.

West Ham claim to be holding out hope that the 23 year old Argentinean will stay on at the club, but since it has emerged that West Ham stand to gain on the transfer fee, I would imagine it’s talk to keep the fans pacified. Let’s see, Premiership survival – 5.5m pound fine + 35m pound transfer fee… that adds up to a sale for me. On top of that, Icelander Eidur Gudjohnsen looks interested in joining West Ham.

The only problem here is that Chelsea have committed not to spend big any more. I cant see that claim holding water. Jose Mourinho loves a hard working striker more than any coach I can think of and Tevez is more than happy to track back and pressure the back four. He’d compliment Didier Drogba well and can also play wide which would provide cover across the front line.

I think Chelsea would do well to sign Tevez and dump Shevchenko back to AC Milan where he can join other wash-up strikers like Ronaldo.

He may possibly end up at Chelsea, but the notion that anyone at West Ham (fans, players, manager and owner) want that to happen is nonsense.

Tevez and Gudjohnsen in claret and blue anyone?

Carlos is staying at West Ham. Not a selling club anymore. The Hammers hold his registration, and they will decide when he leaves.Carlos knows that another season at WH won't hurt him.

West Ham - small club. Chelsea - big club. Barcelona - big club.

Tevez has played his last game for the pikeys. Eidur wouldn't lower himself.

Get real 'Spam fans, you're nothing in the greater scheme of world football. Nothing.

Tevez to stay at Irons for another 2 years then be sold. Irons would get the £30mil now, next year, even the year after that! 100% PURE QUALITY STRIKER!

you appear to know nothing about football. Brazillian Ronaldo was & still one of the best strikers in the world, in form or not. So is Sheva. In Jose's Chelsea, no naturer goal scorer could excel the way he plays his football. Have you ever asked yourself why good footballers came to Chelsea under Jose flopped, but as soon as they moved on became fantastic in their various clubs? It took over two years for Drogba to be effective. Jose's style of play is defensive, negative & boring. It does not suit a natural striker.
