Everton, Tottenham, Newcastle and Fulham rejected
With Andy Cole set on leaving Fulham for Manchester City, coach Chris Coleman sparked a chatter by suggesting Manchester United striker Louis Saha could be loaned back to Fulham.
Everton and Tottenham have since inquired about a Saha loan but all of them have been flatly rejected by coach Alex Ferguson.
Along with Saha, Newcastle have also been rejected on a bid for Luis Boa Morte. Why Newcastle are considering paying 10 million pounds for Nicolas Anelka and not upping their offer for Boa Morte is beyond me. You Newcastle fans want Anelka? After Robert, the pitch fight, et al, wouldn’t a more stable player make more sense? I’d rather pay 10 million pounds for Andy Johnson.
But back to Louis Saha for whom 13 million pounds was paid.
I’m amazed sometimes at how little time players are being given at top clubs. Today’s football climate is similar to the pop music business, you either make a hit song or they try the next disposable act. Saha has only played 16 gamed for United.

dont want anelka :-(
Since when did fans buy the players? I must have missed something.
I agree with the sentiments about Nic, certainly a goal scorer, but trouble in the dressing room and on the pitch. Newcastle need gutsy integrity not sporadic flair. For such a lot of money, other options are available. Yes, Souy wants proven Premier League efforts, but this shouldn't force NUFC into accepting someone with such baggage and at such cost. (Perhaps if Nic had gone out of his way to welcome the gaffer's interest and say something positive about the North East, but he hung shit on both manager and club) Leave him alone to enjoy his time in the Turkish sunshine and look elsewhere, closer to home.
And, about Boa. For F's sake FF, stop getting up all the rival manager's noses, say something nice about Coleman, say how you admire and can work with Fulham, make the effort, not just to get a player, but smooth the way for future trades. Who knows, we may be wanting to recruit their manager before the season's out. (Well, here's one fan hoping...)

Newcastle are not Man U, so fans still have a voice, albeit a shrinking one.
I guess you didnt read my article very well, I was asking whether anyone agreed, not starting a raffle to buy Anelka.
SphinxHunter-
That is not part of the Souness repertoire
Newcastle?? they should go and play in spl maybe they will win a cup there.you have the worst manager ever.
Hear, hear Anon-Souness sucks.True he was a great player albeit a f*****g dirty one at times but too flash to be successful & a great manager.
How happy was i that Tottenham didn't persue him especially after he effectively finished Tony Galvins career. He deserves everything he gets although Newcastle fans deserve better.Sorry guys i hope that you avoid relegation,Up the Spurs!!!!
