Sales off the radar: Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool

Quietly players are being sold off, its the stage in the off season where clubs realize they are not going to get a better deal and nobody is really taking a step up here.

Manchester United have let goalkeeper Roy Carroll go to West Ham United on a free transfer.

Chelsea have sold Scott Parker to Newcastle United and also sold Finnish striker Mikael Forssell from Chelsea to Birmingham City. Chelsea have also said no to a Benfica approach for Mateja Kezman.

El-Hadji Diouf’s transfer from Liverpool to Bolton Wanderers is now final. Vladimir Smicer has moved from Liverpool to Bordeaux. Oh, and the Pellegrino experiment is over, he's been sent packing.

Newcastle have sold Laurent Robert to Portsmouth, quashing speculation of a return to France.

viana is in swap talks with Benni McCarthy of Porto coming in the opposite direction. Bellamy will probably stay at celtic for £6m, Ambrose to Charlton £2m, Bowyer to Charlton maybe £2m, and Emre, Van Buyten, Saviola, Boa Morte, Lahm, and Emerton will probably be heading into newcastle, names Ross cannot be bothered to make account

pull your head in. the blogger was commenting on stuff that's happened, not all your "probable transfers" liverpool for one have been heavily linked with over 25 players in the last week including aimar, kuyt, owen, swp, joaquin, figo etc., but no one in their right mind is going to say they'll all be at anfield next year.

Strange why no one in his right mind would say he would be in Liverpool next season?
Think no one in his "right mind" (until Liverpool did it) would say Liverpool would win the Champions League. Nothing is for sure mate..
