Fix your Berbatov problem quick, Martin

If there is one player at Tottenham that you should be careful criticizing and should start every game he wants to, it’s Dimetar Berbatov.

Berbatov, with the slightest wink, could have forced a move from White Hart Lane. He’s the best player on the team. He shouldn’t be part of a rotation policy. Can you imagine Man U rotating Ronaldo or Liverpool sitting Gerrard? In fact, Rafael Benitez plans to use a rotation policy this season, but have you seen Steven Gerrard sit? Do you expect to?

The row between Jol and Berbatov is twofold. One is the rotation policy, but the second and much more touchy is Berbatov’s apparent reaction to his substitution at Sunderland. I noticed it in his face too, and so did Jol. Apparently Jol was angered by it and told Chairman Daniel Levy that Berbatov isn’t a team player. If this is true, how did it get out? Did Jol leak it to send his star a message or did Levy to add fuel to the fire of a Jol firing?

While Martin Jol has been under pressure lately, it’s a way too soon to be calling for his ouster. He’s done good things, and consider that Tottenham had a lot of tough problems to solve when he arrived, he’s sorted a lot of them out. On the whole he’s done a very good job and deserves the season to continue his work.

If the rumors are true, then it’s a revolving door at Tottenham. Apparently Tottenham executives were seen in Spain talking Sevilla manager to Juande Ramos. The rumor is also that Jol’s relationship with director of football Damien Comolli has soured.

Tottenham and Ramos admitted a meeting took place, but claimed it nothing to do with Jol's job. Oh, ha ha right, they met to discuss buying a time-share together on the coast and eating paella. What a bad lie!

If I were Martin Jol, I would fix this quick because I think it was Levy that leaked the Berbatov controversy so that Berbatov knew where he stood. I also think, wrongly, that Jol is truly about to be fired.

Firstly, Spurs and Ramos camp did NOT admit that a meeting took place. In fact, it has been strenuously denied.

Secondly, what Berbatov/Jol row? This has also been denied.

Thirdly, Berbatov is not subjected to rotation. He has started every game he has been fit.

Do your homework, you inept joke.

What problem with Berbatov!!??

His agent has said that there is not a problem, Ramos has denied being offered the job, its all gutter press speculation and as always sites like this have jumped on it to make matters worse....get a life!

Agreed, when you tossers read something positive here you are glowing, the minute it turns, like you lot do on your managers and players, you start whining like babies, give the author a break.

Firstly - bollocks.

Secondly, if they WERE PHOTOGRAPHED TOGETHER, please provide information, or a link, where one might be able to see this PHOTOGRAPH.

Being told THERE IS A PHOTOGRAPH, and actually seeing said PHOTOGRAPH are two very different things, my bollock pedaling friend.

I've read a lot of shit on these rumour sites but it has to be said this one is particularly bad! Please don't waste part on my lunch hour again!!! If you read the latest you'll see Berba's agent has already denied any problems, strange that an agent, normally the one person who wants tranfer talk is denying a rift!

Also so the hell what two blokes photographed together, Beckham was photographed with Arsene in the paper this morning my god he must be moving before the end of the week on a 200k a day deal!!!

And get off his back? He's making as many page impressions as possible out of a story that has been so over used its just boring, there is no value to this article, he may as well added a comment to those already published as its simply an opinion based on no facts!

Think the author would get a break if he wasn't one of the ever growing list of sh*t stirrers.

Spurs management, Spurs players and Spurs fans should be concentrating on what is important which is the football. 3 points on Sunday and the press and all the other rumour mongers will find something else to print.

It's all very well saying "Get off the authors back, all he's doing is cobbling some rumours together", but this is exactly the kind of rumour-mongering infestation that ruins the game.

This rumours have already been 100% addressed by most, if not all parties concerned, and yet here they are still being pedaled in some kind of club-and-manager deprecating manner.

I don't mind reading good or bad news about my team when there is news to be read. But when faced with badly researched, subjective rumour mongering, it is tiresome, unprofessional, and unwelcome bollocks.

How do you know know for sure its all rumor??

So what, an agent says there is no rift. Agents lie. Maybe the rift is sorted.

Get off his back, he has written alot of good stuff bout spurs

Who benefit most from all this ........ and who want to buy Berbatov and are also having a poor start and - oh - are playing us next ........

get a grip Spurs fans .....

back the manager and the players until something actually happens ...

THEN if it DOES, throw bricks, but at the guys in suits who don't care about anything but the bottom line.

No player should be exempt from criticism and no player should have the right to start every game if they want to so I'm with most people here - this article starts as bollocks and continues as bollocks.

so that's:

How do you know know for sure its all rumor??

Well to start with the article doesn't point to any facts other than secondary information that has already been mentioned and quite a few sentences finish with a question mark. To me it seems to me like he's asking for an opinion rather than actually telling me anything. That's how!

There are PICTURES of them together and I don't think photshop had anything to do with it!!! There i8s no smoke without fire, any of you lot who think this is just the press making ALL this up and it will all go away must live in a land where there's rainbows and unicorns! I am one of Jol's biggest fans, but come on, it's starting to look inevitable isn't it?!

You mean Levy wanted Berbs to know the manager thinks he should go?
you mean Levy is telling Berbs to go?
yeah, maybe Levy saw that he's not interested and that he should go, but on his own choice.
the thing is that both , agent and player, are not excluding a move in the next days. but it's not united but arsenal the target.
